There are 645 million Africans living in Energy Poverty [afdb.org].
With little to no access to modern energy services, majority of the population living in countries like South Sudan, Chad, Malawi and the Central African Republic cannot connect to the Internet, charge their phones and sadly, children have to make do with lanterns and torches to study at night.
OUR MISSION?
To transform energy poverty into opportunity by delivering hybrid wind-solar systems that power health, dignity, and economic growth—rooted in African innovation, led by local champions, and scaled through ethical entrepreneurship.
We exist to electrify the margins—clinics, schools, and communities—where light means life, and power means possibility.
OUR Vision?
A continent where every community is energy-secure, every youth is empowered, and every clinic is resilient—through decentralized, dignified, and climate-smart solutions.
BY 2035, WE ENVISION:
– 1000+ hybrid systems deployed across Africa – 10,000+ technicians trained through MTEDI (MINAGIE Technician Empowerment and Deployment Initiative) – Millions of lives impacted through clean, reliable energy – A movement of ethical energy leaders shaping Africa’s just transition
WHAT IS DIRECT AIR CAPTURE?
The capture of CO₂ directly from the air, reducing the atmospheric concentration of CO₂ using wind power. Our direct air capture (DAC) technology:
TIDAL is one of the key technological solutions to fight climate change in addition to the clean energy it generates.
WHY USE DIRECT AIR CAPTURE?
Global Carbon Dioxide emissions from Fossil Fuels and Industry were 37.12 billion metric tons (GtCO2) in 2021. Emissions are projected to have risen 0.9% in 2022 to 37.5 GtCO2-their highest ever level
1 metric ton is the amount of Carbon captured by 1 acre of U.S. forests in one year
It will take 25-30 years for 1 acre of U.S. forest to be grown to maturity to extract 1 metric ton of Carbon
One Premium model of TIDAL, throughout its operational lifecycle in one year, will capture approximately 1.05 metric tons of Carbon Dioxide

TECHNOLOGY WORK?
